How to Blend In and Not Stand Out – Interested?
Here’s the step-by-step formula for how to blend in and not stand out when you advertise. This is a short excerpt from my upcoming book on audio branding. When used properly, it works pretty much 100% of the time. And I suggest you freely share it with all your competitors.
- Write yourself some copy for a 30 second ad. Or even better…pay an ad agency a nice chunk of change to write it for you.
- Find out if the agency has connections to a snazzy recording studio or find one yourself. Most decent sized cities have at least one. Then…
- Book some studio time,
- Hire a voiceover specialist,
- Locate popular royalty-free music sources and pick a music bed from their vast library of tried and true options, and…
- Record your 30 second ad.
- Be sure it’s radio-ready, high-def, high-rez, digital, sparkling, state-of-the-art audio
- Double, triple, and quadruple check to be sure no clinkers are recorded
- Double, triple, and quadruple check to be sure your phone number is mentioned at least 4 to 6 times
- Be sure to book your spots during prime morning, evening, and drive times
- Try out the spots for at least 3 days
- Rinse and repeat
The proof is in the pudding.
There you have it…how to blend in and not stand out. And lose some advertising dough. It doesn’t get any more straightforward than what I’ve just shared with you. This formula has proved year after year, decade after decade, to guarantee your ads will blend in with everyone else’s. Your ad will sound just as professional and high quality as every good ad out there. And you certainly won’t need to worry about standing out.
But…maybe you’re one of those crazy, wacky business owners or entrepreneurs who’d rather not blend in. You might be interested in more valuable tips for audio branding your business. Maybe you’d like to actually make a little dough. Ok. I’ve heard of weirder things than that.
