Show your professionalism
use video scripts instead of ad lib
If you paint houses, or fix plumbing leaks, or repair tile, woodwork, electrical problems, or any other home service, you might not even wanna think about writing video scripts for your business. Heck, you might not even wanna make a video. But both are great marketing tools, and if you’d rather out “vid” your competition, scripts for your videos can do the trick.
Video scripts don’t require a Hollywood screenwriter.
But they do need a professional touch. Like the writing for your website, advertising, and other marketing tools, focus your scripts on your customers. (you ARE doing that in those other places aren’t you?) It’s OK to list your services in an introduction video, but when you do, be sure to put in a KEY point that sets you apart from your competition. A customer focused point.
And just in case you don’t think video would make a difference…chew on this: more than 3/4 of all web traffic is expected to be through online video this year. Not only that, but…more video is uploaded to the internet each month than TV created in 3 decades.
